Job Description:

Looks Vintage is seeking a passionate and customer-focused Part-time Sales Floor Associate to join our team. The Sales Floor Associate will play a key role in providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting them in finding the perfect vintage pieces, and contributing to the overall success of the store. This role offers the opportunity for growth, with the potential to earn commissions and transition to a full-time position in the future.

Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers warmly as they enter the store and provide assistance as needed.

2. Engage with customers to understand their preferences, offer styling advice, and recommend vintage pieces that suit their individual tastes.

3. Maintain a neat and organized sales floor by restocking merchandise, arranging displays, and ensuring cleanliness.

4. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.

5. Stay knowledgeable about current inventory, including new arrivals and featured items, and communicate this information to customers.

6. Assist with inventory management tasks, such as receiving shipments, tagging merchandise, and conducting periodic stock checks.

7. Uphold store policies and procedures, including those related to customer service, sales techniques, and security measures.

8. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to a positive work environment.

Requirements:

1. Previous retail experience, preferably in apparel or fashion retail, is desirable but not required.

2. Passion for vintage fashion and a keen eye for style trends.

3. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.

4. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

5. Enthusiasm for working in a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment.

6. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

7. Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

8. Authorization to work in the United States.
